Alex is a writer and travel journalist who came to me shortly before launching his podcast: Where Did You Come From? Where Did You Go? Inspired by the podcast’s focus of highlighting queer writers and their artistic journeys as well the Buddhist notion of the “rainbow body” and Alex’s own journey (the plants in the illustration are based on one of his favorite parks in LA), I designed an illustrated podcast cover.
